The Present is a poignant movie that narrates the story of Yousef who makes a promise to buy a meaningful present for his wife on the occasion of their wedding anniversary. Yousef, who is accompanied by his little daughter, comes across numerous unexpected difficulties that serve as tests of his patience and determination. In their journey, the meaning of kinship is evident through the bond between them and the discovery of the value of the simplest of human interactions. Standing out for its emotional depth and easily understandable nature, “The Present” strongly echoes with the audience.
